Summary

Following the launch of iQOO Neo 7 Pro this month and iQOO Z7 5G earlier this month, iQOO has announced the debut of iQOO Z7 Pro 5G in India. Before the official launch, iQOO India chief Nipun Marya confirmed that the handset will have a curved display. It will also come with a small hole to align the camera for selfies. iQOO has yet to announce the launch date.

The other specifications of the phone remain undetermined. However, we could expect it to be positioned in between iQOO Z7s as well as the iQOO Neo 7. The phone is likely priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000, considering that iQOO’s higher-end numbering series is already sold in India. This iQOO Z7 Pro could be upgraded compared to iQOO Z7s.

For those who don’t know that the iQOO Z7s is equipped with a 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, which has up to 90Hz refresh speed, a 360Hz sampling rate for touch, HDR10+, and 1300nits peak brightness. The display is secured from scratches by Schott Xensation Glass. The screen on the standard iQOO Z7s has an aperture cutout for punch holes, while back cameras are mounted inside a rectangular unit. As we said, the iQOO Z7 Pro will include a curved display, which appears more expensive but could be less durable.

The camera on the iQOO Z7s has a 64-megapixel main ISOCELL GW3 sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel front camera. The iQOO Z7 Pro might consider including an ultra-wide camera at the back.

The iQOO Z7s comes with an iQOO battery with 4,500mAh under the cover. The company provides support for charging up to 44W. The package also includes the fastest charger. The same practices are expected for this model, the iQOO Z7 Pro, though getting more rapid charging capabilities is possible. The device is IP54 rated, which we will also see in Pro models. Pro model. But, there may not be a 3.5mm audio jack present on the regular model.

In addition, we could see a new chip. Its iQOO Z7 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 SoC manufactured by Qualcomm. On the contrary, its model iQOO Neo 7 has an 8200-MHz MediaTek Dimensity SoC. The cost of the iQOO Z7 Pro could be about Rs 25,000, but the most expensive model could cost more. Because it was announced that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro was launched in India this month, we can anticipate seeing the Z7 Pro debut in the first week of August.
