Nothing Phone (2) leak showcases camera enhancements

The second version of the Nothing Phone will be released on July 11. Since we are only a few days away, the rumours and Nothing have revealed what this smartphone may offer. Kamila Wojciechowska, a leaker on Twitter, has announced that the Nothing Phone 2 may come with some camera upgrades.

Wojciechowska says the upcoming Phone may feature a Sony IMX890 50MP camera sensor with optical image stabilisation. It could also have in-sensor Zoom. The sensor is a step up from the IMX766 used in the Phone 1. The 50MP Samsung JN1 Ultra-Wide Lens on the back is expected to stay the same.

The tipster claims that the Phone 2 will feature a 32MP Sony IMX615 camera with EIS, which is a vast improvement over the 16MP camera on the Phone 1.

Carl Pei teased us with some photos taken with the new smartphone.

Wojciechowska revealed information regarding the Phone 2’s display. She indicated that there might be a few differences. The smartphone will have a 6.7″ OLED screen with a refresh rate 120Hz and a 1080×2412 resolution. The smartphone will support a low-power mode, which can be as low as one. It is hard to imagine much since we know about the Phone 2. The only thing left to guess is its price. This is slightly higher, given that it will be an expensive offering. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset will power the Nothing Phone 2.

Nothing has shared a look at Phone (2)’s back. The images show a Glyph pattern, and the back has a slight curve.

Flipkart will sell the Nothing Phone 2.
